The insured’s daughter hated math class aswell as the teacher. The daughter made several “disparaging” and false remarks about her teacher online. The teacher sued the parents for personal injury and $750,000 was paid. It's a new world out there.

High-Tech Solutions To Help Deter Driver Texting |

I recently posted a blog asking for a solution to stop my 16 year old son from texting while driving. I found a neat device called "Key to Safe Driving". The device is a small rectangular plug that is inserted into the onboard diagnostic port that's underneath the dashboard of most cars. Once the car is on, a wireless signal is sent to the driver's cell phone. The words, "Safe Driving Mode" pop up on the user's cell phone screen, and the phone is disabled for all incoming and outgoing calls and texts, except for calls to 911 and two other optional emergency numbers. The company says the device will be sold for $99. Not a bad price for a saved life!
